Drinking in no way is equated with
manliness in Chinese culture.
Phrases such as tied on on are lost
here.
A man losing control of his mind is
most vulnerable. Drinking to this point with a man in China whom you are doing business with is pretty stupid as far as I
am concerned.
You will not seem manly, masculine, macho or virile
to Chinese men by wild drinking behaviour.
You will appear differently than you
appear to those of your own culture: vulnerable, open to outside influences.
