A recent news story of Japanese corporation
executives frolicking with Chinese party girls in a hotel triggered a storm of protest all over China. The men had chosen
a date on which Japanese forces had killed Chinese many decades ago.
And yet the Japanese still do business
successfully in China, which makes me wonder if it would help me to a male of any race, when I try to do business in Asia.
The Chinese here are morally correct
to mind that the Japanese have refused to make apologies for wartime atrocities towards China.
I would marry a German
girl first not a Japanese, said one of my own young Chinese business students vehemently, Because Germany has made
apologies!
