We are just about to watch the closing of polls on CNN to see what happened today with Ohio and Texas, and I forgot to get snack foods except for cherry ice cream.

I am trying to think of some interesting things to say, to keep up my readership here.

There are a lot of gloom and doom websites mushrooming up, and we talk
about

  • rising fuel prices
  • gas about to go up by 50%
  • global warming
  • rising food prices
  • shrinking health care system
  • housing shortgage in thispart ofthe world
  • mortgage disasters in 2008

On the darkly humourous side,I read that right wing Americans are going to vote for Obama to cut into the Hillary vote, which is a cunning and successful tactic.

Though I was never for the Clintons before, i cannot help but think the hostility towards her comes from some deep well of prejudice towards women as leaders.

It is just too hostile, too over the top - .

Polarity and being allowing ourselves to bemanipulated by it, seems like childish emotions.

One is good, one is bad, I don't care.

Electing leadership for hard times should not be so emotionally exciting, the mind should be involved?

Still, I can understand the media drama, as it is really a stand-out election, and as I listen to the news, Vermont has just come out strongly for Barack Obama, it is an affluent state and declares the war is more important an issue than the economy.

Locally, I think economics issues - housing, fuel - are of great concern in the coming year.
