Well, I recently completed my Image Ready course
for Photoshop 7, and am full of Photoshop to the brim.
Life plows on as usual, with the same problems
and the same pleasures, and at a lot quieter clip than in exhilarating Asia.
We are watching the CNN station a lot around here, to keep
up with the USA elections, and I can honestly say I have never seen a more interesting batch of candidates - all so different
from one another, and intriguing in their own rights.
On the work front, I am not, just doing tutoring here and there
to my health problems, and giving up on the Internet due all the troubles there.
One of our accounts accidentally froze due to a stupid technical
error on my part, which gives us a laugh, because if anyone tries to enter it, they will get frozen as well, so I can
hardly worry about that!
I will just leave it alone, and continue with my endless self-education,
and trying to get my health back, from the heavy metal poisoning.
Though this diary is as dull as doornails, I did work hard
today, putting up 50 photographs of life in Asia, and if you press one photo you will see it leads into a chain of pictures.
I tried to add the HTML pages from Photoshop 7 which were gorgeous
- one page featuring a slide show of many pictures, a large picture at the centre, rotating with many tinier photos from the
margin at the side - and this type of website refused to accomodate them.
I have seen a few psychics lately -one of them a business psychic
at the local library, who was talking loudly about financial matters on his cell phone - estates and such.
He later told me at a coffee shop that a recent round of crooked
buyers for our small computer business, were only pretending to be from Foreign Countries, and were really Canadians! connected
to something shady - though I just did not want to know.
"Give them enough rope," he said cryptically.
I was not reassured though am sick of the cooler nature of
the Internet - recall the times when women used to meet for coffee mornings, and guys used to have a drink together, and the
more extroverted warmth of real life meetings.
I would like to see some or many or all of my Old Friends,
and just see Barbara and Joey - though quite a lot.
I go swimming every second day, though I may not do yoga till
the mercury is removed from me, as some of the inverted postures made me feel really ill the other day - though it sounds
crazy, I think the metal jiggled down to the sinuses and gave me a headache that lasted all night.
Though I used to not care for the Clintons, for all the usual
reasons, I have come to admire their tenacity, perseverance, and determination.
Asians like them because they both have 35 years or more of
real-life political experience, and together they have experience of state, federal, and international politics.
They are sure not perfect, but what politician is? They are
flexible as well as well as knowledgable.
There is nothing her rival has said or done that is unlikeable
- he seems to have come up too fast.
The Republican candidates too are quite personable.
